Anni Zastrow, 88, of Mt. Prospect passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late George Zastrow. Loving mother of Anita (George) Janikowski, George (Kieran) Zastrow. Cherished grandmother of Mike and Alysia Janikowski, and Liesl and Owen Zastrow. Dear sister of Hanna (the late Adolf) Kugel. Devoted sister-in-law of Horst Zastrow. Preceded in death by her parents Heinrich and Anna Deierling and her twin sister Martha Petermann. Anni leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last few months.
Anni was born December 7, 1928 in Germany. She and George were married November 10, 1956.
Visitation Tuesday, December 27, 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd. (at Northwest Highway) Mt. Prospect. Visitation continues Wednesday, December 28, from 10:00 A.M. until services 11:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 1100 S. Linneman Rd, Mt. Prospect.
Interment St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
